Helping Out

Donating

We especially appreciate financial donations because tender loving care won't keep an airplane flying for very long by itself. Insurance rates go up, aviation gasoline is more expensive than car gas, we have to pay hangar rent, and there is on going maintenance and upkeep.

If you would like to donate, you can contact the Wright Stuff Squadron Unit Leader Jeffrey Mitchell by email or 937-248-4777 (cell). Our Financial Officer officer Tom Breitenstein can also accept donations and can be reached by email.

Donations to The Wright Stuff Squadron are tax deductible! We sincerely appreciate your help, and all donations and contributions are recognized on this website, and at all of our public displays and functions!!!

There are many ways to help out. No, you don't need to be a pilot or know anything about airplanes. Most of our members are not pilots! The Wright Stuff Squadron has Electricians, Doctors, Veterinarians, Airline Pilots, Mechanics, Carpenters, Plumbers, Businessmen, Sales People, Military Personnel, Retirees, College Students and a variety of others. We have 19 yr. olds and 75 yr. olds, and we have a great time. The Wright Stuff Squadron also boasts members from Texas, Indiana, Florida, New Mexico, Michigan, Missouri,North Carolina and of course, Ohio.

If you would just like to come out sometime for a look, we are usually around on Sundays from 0900 to at least lunch while we are fixing our office space up over the winter of 2006-2007. We are usually easy to get a hold of and find and are always on the lookout for help with fund raising, maintenance, the PX (post exchange), public relations, and whatever else any organization would need.
